ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR THURSDAY APRIL 18

GIRLS FUNDRAISER

Come join Student Government to support the girls tennis team this Friday night in the large gym for a fun social night from 6-8pm!  There will be a movie, some food and drink and good times!  All we ask is a $5 donation at the door to support the tennis team!!  Check the stugov instagram if you have any questions, see you Friday night!

RECYCLING

South staff – Community Leadership teams will be collecting recycling at the start of second period today. Please have your blue tubs ready near or outside your classroom door. Thanks!

GSA

GSA meets for lunch today and every Thursday in Room 30. All are welcome. See you there!  

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY

Are you looking for volunteer hours? How about working with kids at a carnival? Both Edgewood and Roosevelt will hold carnival fundraisers on Friday, April 19th. Check the last published e-news on South’s website or visit Lori Sauter in the College and Career Center for details.

JUNIOR PROJECT

Juniors, your Junior Project should now be complete. It was due on March 15th. This is such a valuable tool for planning your future! If you haven’t finished yet, please email Lori Sauter (sauter_l@4j.lane.edu) and make a plan with her for its completion.

PROM TICKETS

Prom Tickets are now on sale for Juniors & Seniors! Purchase your prom ticket on school pay before it is too late. There are a limited number of available tickets and we will run out. Guest forms are now out; we have no more. 

NHS APPLICATIONS

Due to some South website issues we have extended the NHS application deadline to Friday April 19th.  Applications are available in room 708.

PROM VOTING

Hey Juniors and Seniors! There is one week left to vote for prom royals, the link to the form is on the SEHS prom website, linked on the StuGov Instagram, and is under the “Royalty Bios and Voting” page! The form will close on April 22nd, and the winners will be announced at 10pm during Prom on April 27th.

EARTH WEEK

Get ready for Earth Week starting next Monday, April 22nd!! Mother Earth Monday, Transportation Tuesday, Water Bottle Wednesday, Thrifty Thursday, and Fossil Free Friday will each have their own activities where you can participate for a chance to win a Hydroflask or an Eco-prize! Look out for information on StuGov and EG350’s instagrams and listen for daily information on how to participate. Show the earth some love this earth week!
